Dichromate plating in yellow or gray applied as a sealer over zinc that is less than 1 mil
thick. The coating used on these fasteners is designed for interior applications when
appearance is a concern. It offers a modest amount of corrosion resistance
(approx. 100 hours of salt spray to 10% red rust).
